Yue Zhao’s current research at the Rochester Data Science Consortium focuses on clinical diagnosis search engines and publication database analytics. His ongoing research interests include natural language processing and information retrieval. Recently, Yue completed his master’s degree in Data Science from the University of Rochester, building, as his master’s capstone project, an end-to-end paper-reviewer matching program that matches reviewers to manuscripts.
Yue earned his bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics (with a focus on Civil Engineering) from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. As an undergraduate student, he worked for two years at the Madison Applied Math Lab, an interdisciplinary research lab with a primary focus on fluid-structure interactions and soft matter physics.
